Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) proceeds RDFization of various life science databases.
Generally, it is difficult to release an RDF-based database service for institutions which run legacy database systems such as Relational Databases (RDB).
D2RQ is a middleware to enable RDF based accesses to RDBs, and it is suitable for these institutions to alleviate the burden of setting up yet another database service.
However, D2RQ needs a mapping file to bridge RDF and RDB, and to edit it is time consuming.
In this situation, we have released D2RQ Mapper from http://d2rq.dbcls.jp/.
D2RQ Mapper is a web application that helps to edit a mapping file by providing context aware input forms.
By using D2RQ Mapper, you can minimize syntactical errors and easily refer RDB datasets of interest.
In addition, we provide its Docker image, and therefore D2RQ Mapper can be used within your intranet.
